whitney plantation
The Whitney Plantation Historic District is preserved by the Whitney Institute, a non-profit whose mission is to educate the public about the history and legacies of slavery in the Southern United States. Its founder’s daughter lives in Denver and reached out to me as they were in the early stages of creating the museum. It was an honor to work on such an important project.
